Physical Education

Kids are on the field playing with balls and hula hoops

Physical Education at Miquon nurtures the whole child.

Through movement, cooperation, and exploration, students build confidence, resilience, and lifelong habits of wellness. Our program fosters a community grounded in respect, inclusion, and shared responsibility.

Our goal is for every student to learn to make healthy choices and feel successful while participating in a variety of activities. This foundation helps students develop a positive attitude toward physical activity and build healthy habits that can last a lifetime.

Students are encouraged to support one another, work together, and take pride not only in their performance, but in how they contribute to a positive and inclusive environment.

Sport and physical activity are social and, more often than not, done with others.

Cooperation, communication, collaboration, respect, and sportsmanship are just as important, if not more important, than skills such as eye-hand coordination during activities.

How we move--and how we treat each other while moving--is central to our program.
