Visiting campus is the best way to get to know Miquon. If you haven’t already toured with Caitlin Thompson, Director of Enrollment Management, schedule a family tour using our online scheduler.

Tours should take place before your child’s classroom visit. Families may attend an Open House instead of a tour.

Submit our online application to officially begin the admissions process.

For priority consideration for the 2027-28 school year, submit your online application by December 4, 2026. The application is the only item due on this date.

Applicants should submit a teacher recommendation form from their current teacher (if applicable) and request that their school send academic records directly to Miquon.

These steps can be initiated through the Family Portal.

After submitting your application, you can schedule your child’s campus visit through the Family Portal.

Visit experiences vary by grade level:

• Preschool and Kindergarten: Children join us for one of our Winter Play Days. For applications received after our priority deadline, we will arrange an admissions visit in a preschool classroom.

• First Grade: One half day visit.

• Second Grade: One full school day.

• Third–Sixth Grade: Two consecutive school days.

Occasionally, we may request an additional visit or gather further information before making an admissions decision. Outside testing is not required, but if it has already been conducted, we ask that you share those reports with us.

Families of first through sixth grade applicants will meet with our Head of School as part of the admissions process.

Our office will reach out to schedule this 30-minute conversation, which is typically planned for the day of your child’s visit, near drop-off or pick-up time for your convenience.

For those who have met our priority deadline, admissions decisions are released on February 1. Families will receive an email when their child’s decision is available in the Family Portal.

Enrollment information and next steps will be included in your decision materials. Families are asked to respond by our March 1 enrollment deadline.
