Welcome to the Clisby Library's Website!
Overlooking an orchard and nestled along the banks of our beloved creek, the Clisby Library houses the collection of resources which inspire the imaginations and inform the curiosities of the Miquon School's young learners.
The Program
Miquon's students visit the library weekly in half-groups for an opportunity to share literature, learn about the library and how to use its resources and to borrow books. The goals of the library program are:
- to foster a love of books, reading, and libraries;
- to provide a collection of resources that will support the reading interests and information needs of our students as well as the curricular needs of the classroom;
- to develop the research skills necessary for children to become independent learners;
