Welcome to the Clisby Library's Website!

Overlooking an orchard and nestled along the banks of our beloved creek, the Clisby Library houses the collection of resources which inspire the imaginations and inform the curiosities of the Miquon School's young learners.

The Program

Miquon's students visit the library weekly in half-groups for an opportunity to share literature, learn about the library and how to use its resources and to borrow books. The goals of the library program are:

What Makes Our Library Special?

Birthday Books
Our collection includes many books donated by families to celebrate special days
 and people.

Autographed Books
Our collection includes many books which were autographed by their authors or
 illustrators.
Special Collections and Exhibits
The library is home to a demonstration hive of honeybees and houses a collection
of mounted specimens of birds of prey which were locally (and legally) salvaged.
The Book Club
Many of our fifth and sixth graders meet monthly at lunch choice to discuss a
 pre-selected book.
Storytelling
 Our librarian is a storyteller.
(Webmaster's note: She's a WONDERFUL storyteller!)
