The Class of 2000 -- Where are they going?

There are traditions that are often described but never captured. Graduation at Miquon is one -- because for everyone there it reflects so much of the past and promises so much for the future. This year, graduation took place on Wednesday, June 7th, in fine spring weather. The ceremony included remarks from Miquon parents Connie Devlin (also the assistant to the principal) and Gary Pelkey, and presentation of gifts to the school from both the graduating class (kitchen equipment) and their parents (computer equipment for the science room). Of course, the heart of the ceremony was the graduates' speeches and the presentation of diplomas, We are proud of the Class of 2000 and grateful for their many contributions to the life of the school. We wish them every success and hope they will stay in touch as they bring their gifts to new schools.
